We provided a minimum of 2, now risen to 3 line dance classes a week to the community. This provides support for their physical health (exercise and balance) and mental health (memory, companionship, emotional support, social interaction). Our member numbers continue to rise allowing our impact to be felt even wider in the community. We supported our wider community by providing entertainment and/or workshops to local ‘Dance in the Park’, local Family Fun Day, Taunton town Winterfest and Taunton Town ‘Taunton Together’. We also provided team building exercises to staff from Taunton Town Council and Castle School. We ran an afternoons entertainment at a local care home.
Our stakeholders are the members who attend our dance classes. Memebers are regularly informed of our future plans and opportunities are made during classes for members to speak to the directors regarding feedback or issues. Directors are available outside class should members wish to speak in private. All members have the opportunity to attend the AGM.
