Year Ending: 30 April 2026

Company activities and impact

Impact Alchemy South CIC objects are to provide support to small scale social sector organisations to help them deliver positive social outcomes specifically around the four Olympic Boroughs adjacent to Queen Elizabeth Park in East London. During the year we undertook the following activities: We acted as an Access Point on behalf of Access, the Foundation for Social Investment. This enabled the CIC to support five early-stage organisations to access investment readiness grant of up to £15,000 each. These organisations used the grant for business planning, financial forecasting and marketing, all with the aim of increasing positive social impact. Our focus has been on supporting diverse-led organisations and / or those providing social enterprise solutions to underserved communities. We have been invited to continue as an Access Point for the year to 2026 with further grant allocation. We nominate organisations for the Connecting with Purpose programme funded by Barclays and delivered by Social Business. Connecting with Purpose provides strategic support and mentoring or senior management of small charities and social enterprises. We engaged with a further 15 organisations across the year to 2026. We continue to refer organisations to funding programmes such as the Brighter Futures Fund, supporting with applications for funding to deliver social impact. We were please to continue support for 3 East London organisations access over £100k in funding including Tiffinwalli CIC, Kundalaka CIC and East London School of Music.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company's stakeholders are the management teams of small social enterprises and charities with whom we engage with on a daily basis. Impact Alchemy South has sought feedback from these stakeholders on the types of services and products that woudl help them. We have taken feedback in person on the Park and electronically. As a direct consequence of these conversations we have designed and launched our own small grants programme to support positive social impact in East London. This will be funded from the profits of the social enterprise.
