	The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention.


2	Controlling party

	The ultimate parent undertaking is Skylon Construction Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. Advantage has been taken of the exemption in FRS102 not to disclose related party transactions with the parent company, as Skylon Developments Limited is wholly owned by the parent company.
