This year has been one of resilience, growth, and deepened community impact for Namow Initiative CIC. Despite increasing pressures on marginalised communities, particularly migrant and LGBTQ+ women, we have remained committed to providing safe, inclusive, and empowering spaces. Through our programmes, we have supported women and girls facing social isolation, economic hardship, and barriers to integration. Our work continues to centre lived experience, ensuring that the voices of those we support shape our services. We are proud of the progress made this year and grateful to our partners, funders, and volunteers who have made this work possible. During the reporting period, Namow Initiative CIC delivered a range of community-led programmes aimed at improving wellbeing, reducing isolation, and empowering migrant and marginalised women and girls across London. During the reporting period, Namow Initiative CIC delivered a range of community-led programmes aimed at improving wellbeing, reducing isolation, and empowering migrant and marginalised women and girls across London. Community Wellbeing Sessions Delivered 32 weekly wellbeing sessions attended by over 85 women throughout the year. Provided safe and supportive spaces for peer discussion, emotional support, and community connection. Focused on mental health awareness, confidence building, resilience, and reducing social isolation. Over 78% of participants reported improved well-being and increased confidence following regular attendance. Skills and Empowerment Workshops Organised 18 empowerment and employability workshops with an average attendance of 20 participants per session. Delivered training on: Financial literacy CV writing and interview preparation. Job applications and employability skills Digital and online skills Supported over 40 women with employment and training advice, with several participants progressing into education, volunteering, or job-seeking opportunities.
