Company activities and impact

During the financial year, the company has continued to deliver community-focused creative projects that have provided meaningful opportunities for young people across the Isle of Wight, particularly in Ryde, Sandown and St Helens. A key area of our work has been the development of youth-led arts initiatives. Through these projects, young people have been taught practical art and mural design skills, encouraging creativity, confidence, teamwork and positive community engagement. Participants have been actively involved in the planning, design and painting of public murals, giving them a sense of ownership and pride in their local environment. The company has completed murals in a range of community spaces throughout Ryde, Sandown and St Helens. These artworks have helped to brighten public areas, create more welcoming environments and encourage community pride. The projects have also provided young people with constructive activities and opportunities to contribute positively to their local area. In addition, the company has collaborated with local telecommunications companies to address the issue of meaningless graffiti on communication boxes. The projects have transformed neglected spaces into attractive public artworks while promoting respect for the local environment. Overall, the company’s activities have delivered clear community benefit by supporting youth development, improving public spaces, encouraging artistic participation and fostering stronger connections between young people and their communities.
