Our pickleball club was founded in August 2024 to promote participation in pickleball within the local community. During the period to 31 December 2025, the company organised regular weekly pickleball sessions at hired sports halls, open to members and the wider community. The company also organised several pickleball tournaments during this period, which brought together players of varying abilities to compete in a welcoming, inclusive environment. The activities supported community health and wellbeing through accessible, low-cost participation in physical sport, with particular emphasis on welcoming beginners and players of all ages and backgrounds. surplus generated is retained within the company and reinvested in expanding session capacity, subsidising participation, and acquiring equipment.
The directors consulted with the club's members and regular session attendees through informal discussions at sessions and via email communication. Feedback was sought on session timing, format, and the structure of the tournaments. The directors also engaged with venue providers to ensure suitable facilities, and with the wider local pickleball community to promote inclusive participation. The club is affiliated with Pickleball England and has very good relationships with a large number of similar pickleball clubs which have also been available for knowledge sharing. As such we have consistently been improving the way we run our social sessions and competitions
