Company activities and impact

Advocacy and highlighting issues faced by people with accessibility needs and raising awareness of issues that could be improved. Working with groups and agencies to improve accessibility and inclusion. Organisations such as councils, highways, The office of police and crime commissioner for Nottinghamshire. Many councils across the UK on outdoor playgrounds, play England, playground supply companies to highlight challenges and issues faced by users from disabled user perspective and lived experiences. Working upon pothole progressions, road and pathway issues, reasonable adjustments for users with various organisations and users.

Consultation with stakeholders

Stakeholders are the people requiring accessibility and inclusion. We hold meetings with our volunteers who all have various disabilities and comment/advise from real world and lived experiences to show how things can be improved in processes and systems. Practical advice solutions fitting for purposes. We also consult online with other disabled communities and collaborate via social media in surveys and polls on various topics to gain insight from a wide audience to form our research and work. We encourage anyone with any access issues locally (accidentally nationally also at times!) to contact us to see if we are able to assist and help with access improvements and contact those involved accordingly. Key priorities have always been to further inclusion and accessibility for users who require this and to ensure the safeguarding of those needs.
