Over the past year, our community wellbeing activities have had a significant positive impact on both local women in Devon and women nationwide through our online support communities. Locally, we now have almost 400 women getting involved in our Inner Wellness Circle CIC activities, many of whom were previously inactive, isolated, struggling with confidence, anxiety, low mood, stress, menopause symptoms, or poor physical health. Through gentle, inclusive and supportive activities such as Couch to 5K, walk and talk groups, trekking, tai chi, yoga, bowling, Drum for Health, somatic breathing sessions, wellness retreats, workshops and self-care pamper sessions, we have created a safe and welcoming environment where women feel supported, connected and empowered. The impact has gone far beyond physical movement. Women regularly report improved confidence, reduced loneliness, better mental wellbeing, improved sleep, reduced anxiety, increased motivation and a renewed sense of belonging within the community. Many participants who initially felt unable to attend group activities due to low confidence or poor wellbeing are now attending regularly, making friendships and supporting others in return. Our Couch to 5K groups have been particularly impactful, helping complete beginners take their first steps into exercise in a non-judgemental environment. Many ladies have progressed from feeling unable to run at all to completing sessions consistently and building long-term healthy habits. Alongside the local community work, I also run a nationwide online women’s wellness support group with almost 6,300 women. This provides daily support, education and encouragement around wellbeing, menopause, movement, sleep, nutrition, mindfulness and self-care. We also provide monthly expert masterclasses covering a wide range of health and wellness topics. The response and engagement within the group has been incredible, with women frequently sharing how supported, heard and less alone they feel. Many women have expressed that the groups have helped them through difficult periods in their lives, improved their understanding of their health, encouraged them to seek support, and inspired them to prioritise their wellbeing for the first time in years. Overall, the activities and support networks are helping to build healthier, more connected communities, improving both physical and mental wellbeing, reducing social isolation, and empowering women to take positive steps towards healthier and happier lives.
The company’s main stakeholders during the financial year ending 31st August 2025 were the women within the online wellbeing community, expert wellness coaches contributing to the group, and the wider community benefiting from the support and education provided. Stakeholder consultation took place informally through daily interaction within the Facebook group, member feedback, comments, polls, messages and engagement during monthly peri clinics and master-classes. Feedback from members consistently highlighted the need for a safe, supportive and non-judgemental community where women felt heard, understood and less alone. Members also expressed a desire for ac-cessible education around wellbeing, hormones, sleep, nutrition, movement, mindfulness and self-care without pressure from constant selling. In response to this feedback, the company continued to provide regular educational content, expert-led masterclasses and supportive discussions focused on the 5 Fundamentals approach to women’s wellness. The community was intentionally maintained as a supportive and educational space prioritising connec-tion, wellbeing and peer support.
