The activities of the Greenwich Community Schools CIC are intended to benefit the community by being able to offer a wider range of activities through a collective resource and thereby benefitting a wider aspect of not only schools community but also a wider community that exists outside of this. The company remains committed to its Primary School Hub in partnership with the PTI. Teachers from the GCSP have access to four bespoke CPD days at no cost to their schools. During this reporting period, the company continued to act as the Contracting Authority on the procurement of a catering provision contract framework. The contract has been called down by over 40 schools within the borough of Greenwich. This aligns with the intended aims of the company in respect of benefitting the community of local schools within the wider community. The company has partnered with local schools to enter a scheme that allows access to laptop devices at a reduced rate. The devices are passed on to schools at cost and benefits families in need.
