During the financial year, the company operated a community cafe until its closure at the end of November 2025 due to funding constraints. During the period it was operating, the cafe provided an inclusive and welcoming space for local residents to meet, socialise, and access affordable food and refreshments. The cafe helped reduce social isolation within the community by offering a safe and accessible environment for people of all ages and backgrounds. The company supported the local community by sourcing goods and services from local suppliers where possible and by creating volunteering and employment opportunities for local residents. Volunteers gained valuable skills and work experience in customer service, food preparation, teamwork, and hospitality. The cafe also hosted community activities and informal support networks, helping to strengthen community connections and improve wellbeing.
Stakeholders were consulted informally throughout the financial year through regular conversations, feedback from cafe users and volunteers, community engagement, and discussions with funders and partner organisations. Feedback received helped the company understand the needs of the local community and informed decisions regarding cafe services, activities, and operating arrangements. The company responded to stakeholder feedback by adapting its community activities and services where possible to meet local needs within available resources. Discussions with stakeholders also informed decisions relating to the future operation of the cafe prior to its closure at the end of November 2025 due to funding constraints.
The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £2000. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
