DIRECTOR’S REPORT For the period 30 September 2024 to 29 September 2025 INTERNATIONAL NEPALESE ARTIST SOCIETY UK CIC Director’s Report I present my report for the financial period from 30 September 2024 to 29 September 2025. Principal Activities The principal activity of INTERNATIONAL NEPALESE ARTIST SOCIETY UK CIC is to promote Nepali art, culture, language, and artistic expression within the United Kingdom. The CIC provides a platform for local Nepali artists and community members to participate in cultural and artistic activities that preserve, develop, and promote Nepali heritage. Business Review and Activities During the financial period, the CIC organised 2–3 cultural and community programmes involving local Nepali artists, performers, and community members. These programmes showcased Nepali music, dance, language, and cultural traditions, contributing to the preservation and promotion of cultural identity within the UK. The activities provided opportunities for local artists to perform, develop their skills, and engage with wider audiences. The programmes also encouraged community participation and helped strengthen social and cultural cohesion among Nepali families and the wider community. Governance and Executive Committee The CIC is supported by an Executive Committee, which operates on a three-year tenure. The Executive Committee is responsible for developing a long-term activity calendar covering a three-year planning cycle and providing guidance on the organisation’s cultural and community objectives. The Director, in consultation with the Executive Committee members, plans and delivers programmes and activities for the community. This collaborative governance structure ensures that the CIC’s activities remain aligned with community needs and its core objectives of promoting Nepali art, culture, and language in the UK. Stakeholder Engagement The CIC maintained informal consultation with key stakeholders, including local Nepali artists, community members, volunteers, and local community organisations. Feedback was gathered through direct conversations and engagement during and after events, which helped inform the planning and improvement of future activities. Director’s Responsibilities As the sole director, I am responsible for preparing the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and regulations, maintaining proper accounting records, safeguarding the assets of the CIC, and ensuring that the organisation operates in accordance with its community interest objectives and asset lock requirements. Future Outlook The CIC aims to continue delivering cultural and community-based programmes, expand engagement with local artists and community organisations, and further promote Nepali arts, culture, and language in the UK. The organisation remains committed to delivering clear community benefit through inclusive cultural initiatives.

Company activities and impact

During the financial year, INTERNATIONAL NEPALESE ARTIST SOCIETY UK CIC carried out a number of cultural and community-focused activities aimed at promoting Nepali art, culture, language, and artistic expression within the UK. The organisation successfully organised 2–3 community programmes and cultural events, bringing together local artists, performers, and members of the Nepali community. These programmes provided a platform for local Nepali artists to showcase their talents in music, dance, cultural performances, and other artistic disciplines. By creating opportunities for participation and exposure, the organisation helped support and encourage artists while preserving and promoting Nepali cultural heritage among the wider community, including younger generations growing up in the UK. The activities also contributed to community cohesion and social inclusion by bringing people together through shared cultural experiences. The events promoted awareness and appreciation of Nepali language, traditions, and arts, helping strengthen cultural identity and community engagement. Through its work, the CIC has continued to provide social and cultural benefit to the local community while supporting the development and visibility of Nepali artists in the UK.

Consultation with stakeholders

During the financial year, INTERNATIONAL NEPALESE ARTIST SOCIETY UK CIC engaged in informal consultation with key stakeholders, including local Nepali artists, performers, community members, volunteers, and local community organisations. Feedback and suggestions were gathered through direct conversations, interactions during and after cultural programmes, and ongoing community communication via events and social platforms. This engagement helped the CIC understand community needs and interests, particularly in relation to promoting Nepali art, culture, and language, and informed the planning and delivery of its activities.
