During the financial year, INTERNATIONAL NEPALESE ARTIST SOCIETY UK CIC carried out a number of cultural and community-focused activities aimed at promoting Nepali art, culture, language, and artistic expression within the UK. The organisation successfully organised 2–3 community programmes and cultural events, bringing together local artists, performers, and members of the Nepali community. These programmes provided a platform for local Nepali artists to showcase their talents in music, dance, cultural performances, and other artistic disciplines. By creating opportunities for participation and exposure, the organisation helped support and encourage artists while preserving and promoting Nepali cultural heritage among the wider community, including younger generations growing up in the UK. The activities also contributed to community cohesion and social inclusion by bringing people together through shared cultural experiences. The events promoted awareness and appreciation of Nepali language, traditions, and arts, helping strengthen cultural identity and community engagement. Through its work, the CIC has continued to provide social and cultural benefit to the local community while supporting the development and visibility of Nepali artists in the UK.
During the financial year, INTERNATIONAL NEPALESE ARTIST SOCIETY UK CIC engaged in informal consultation with key stakeholders, including local Nepali artists, performers, community members, volunteers, and local community organisations. Feedback and suggestions were gathered through direct conversations, interactions during and after cultural programmes, and ongoing community communication via events and social platforms. This engagement helped the CIC understand community needs and interests, particularly in relation to promoting Nepali art, culture, and language, and informed the planning and delivery of its activities.
