During the financial year, Enfield Health & Wellbeing Services CIC continued to make a positive impact within the local community by providing wellbeing activities, social support and accessible services aimed at reducing isolation and improving quality of life for local residents. Through the support and funding received from the Enfield Together Fund, Hubbub Foundation and McCarthy Stone Foundation, the organisation has been able to reach and support more people within the community than would otherwise have been possible. This funding enabled the CIC to continue delivering Lunch Club activities, wellbeing sessions, exercise and yoga classes, excursions, footcare support and other community-focused initiatives that promote both physical and mental wellbeing. The organisation has created welcoming opportunities for people to connect socially, access support services and participate in activities that improve confidence, wellbeing and community engagement. The additional funding received during the year has helped strengthen the reach of the organisation and expand the support available to local residents, particularly those who may be vulnerable, isolated or in need of additional community support.
The company regularly engages with stakeholders including service users, staff, volunteers, funders and members of the local community. Feedback is gathered through informal discussions, participation in activities and ongoing communication with attendees and community partners. This feedback has helped shape the services provided by the CIC, including the continuation and development of Lunch Club activities, wellbeing sessions, excursions and community support initiatives. Funding support received from organisations including the Enfield Together Fund, Hubbub Foundation and McCarthy Stone Foundation has enabled the company to respond to identified community needs and expand the reach of its services. The CIC is also currently working with the support of the local council to identify suitable premises to rent in order to centralise and further develop its community services. This will help improve accessibility, strengthen service delivery and create a more consistent community hub for local residents accessing support and wellbeing activities.
