Company activities and impact

During the financial year ending 31 August 2025, Impact of We CIC undertook activities focused on improving digital inclusion, cybersecurity awareness, and community education. We have also begun applying for various Innovate UK research and development funding opportunities to expand our expertise, strengthen our capacity for innovation, and increase the reach and impact of our community-focused digital education and cybersecurity initiatives. The organisation participated in a subcontracted research and development project involving the creation of educational content and learning resources designed to raise awareness of cybersecurity risks, online safety, and responsible digital practices. Alongside content development, Impact of We CIC delivered awareness-building workshops and training sessions aimed at increasing understanding of cybersecurity and digital safety among community members. These activities provided accessible learning opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds and supported participants in developing practical knowledge and confidence in navigating digital environments safely. The organisation also engaged with community groups, educational partners, and local networks to encourage participation and ensure that learning materials and activities were relevant and inclusive. Through these initiatives, Impact of We CIC contributed to strengthening digital literacy, promoting safer online behaviour, and increasing awareness of emerging technology and cybersecurity issues within the community.
