Mission Endeavour CIC has continued to deliver inclusive community-based supportfor children, young people, families and adults across Doncaster, with a particularfocus on areas experiencing disadvantage and limited access to services. During thefinancial year, the company delivered youth work, SEND-inclusive sessions, dance andcheerleading, creative activities, holiday provision, wellbeing support, employabilitysupport and community engagement activities.Our activities have benefited the community by providing safe, structured and positiveopportunities for children and young people, including those with SEND and those atrisk of isolation, disengagement or anti-social behaviour. Sessions have supportedconfidence, social skills, emotional wellbeing, physical activity, creativity and positiverelationships with trusted adults. We have also provided food, enrichment activitiesand inclusive holiday provision, helping to reduce barriers for families during schoolholidays.The company has supported adults and families through community-based wellbeing,skills and employability activity, including CV support, confidence building,signposting, training opportunities and one-to-one guidance. This has helped residentsto move closer to work, training, volunteering and wider community participation.Mission Endeavour CIC has continued to work in partnership with local organisations,community venues, schools, families and statutory services to identify needs andrespond flexibly. Our work has strengthened local support networks, improved accessto inclusive provision and helped create safer, more connected communities. Anysurplus generated has been reinvested into the community interest company to sustainand develop services for local residents.(If applicable, please just state “A social audit report covering these points is attached”).
Mission Endeavour CIC’s stakeholders include the children, young people, adults and familieswho access our services; parents and carers; volunteers; staff and sessional workers; localresidents; schools; community venues; referral partners; funders; local authority teams; andpartner organisations.Stakeholder consultation has taken place throughout the year through informal conversationsduring sessions, registration and feedback forms, attendance monitoring, parent and carerdiscussions, staff and volunteer meetings, partnership meetings, and ongoing communicationwith families and referral partners. Children and young people have also been encouraged toshare their views on activities they enjoy, any barriers they face, and what support they wouldlike to see in future sessions.In response to stakeholder feedback, Mission Endeavour CIC has adapted activities to bettermeet the needs of participants, including offering SEND-friendly support, providing quieterspaces or flexible approaches where needed, developing more creative, sport, dance andwellbeing activities, and ensuring sessions remain welcoming and inclusive. Feedback fromfamilies has also informed the timing, structure and location of sessions, as well as the need forfood, enrichment and holiday provision.Feedback from partners and funders has supported improvements in our monitoring,safeguarding processes, risk assessments, training records and quality assurance systems. Thecompany has used consultation to strengthen delivery, improve accessibility and ensure servicesremain responsive to the needs of the community.
