During the financial year, EBATT Projects CIC delivered a range of community, focused table tennis programmes designed to improve physical health, mental wellbeing and social connection for people of all ages and abilities. Our activities included weekly coaching sessions, open play sessions, after school clubs, holiday pro-grammes, tournaments and community engagement events. These sessions were delivered in a safe, wel-coming and inclusive environment, encouraging participation from individuals who may not otherwise engage in sport due to confidence, financial or social barriers. Through our programmes, participants developed new skills, improved fitness levels and increased confi-dence. Table tennis provides both physical and mental benefits, helping to improve concentration, coordi-nation and overall wellbeing. The structured nature of the sessions also encouraged positive behaviour, resilience and social interaction. We worked with schools, community groups and local partners to provide accessible opportunities for children, young people and adults to take part in regular physical activity. Some sessions were supported by grant funding, enabling us to offer free or subsidised participation to ensure affordability was not a bar-rier. Our sessions helped reduce social isolation by bringing people together in a supportive community set-ting. Participants reported improved confidence, enjoyment and motivation to remain active. The pro-grammes also helped young people engage in structured activities during after-school hours and holiday periods, providing positive opportunities to develop skills and build friendships. EBATT Projects CIC remains committed to using table tennis as a tool to improve health, wellbeing and community connection, ensuring activities are accessible, inclusive and beneficial to the wider communi-ty.
EBATT Projects CIC regularly consults with a range of stakeholders to ensure our activities meet the needs of the community and provide meaningful benefits. Our stakeholders include participants (children, young people and adults), parents and carers, schools, community groups, coaches, volunteers, funding organisations and local partners. We gather feedback through a variety of methods, including informal conversations during sessions, feedback forms, online surveys using Google Forms, registration forms, discussions with parents and par-ticipants, and ongoing communication with partner organisations and schools. We also receive feedback through email, social media and direct conversations with community members and participants attending our programmes. Feedback received has helped us shape and improve our activities. For example, participants expressed interest in more regular playing opportunities and structured coaching sessions, which led to the develop-ment of additional weekly sessions and holiday activities. Feedback also highlighted the importance of providing a welcoming and supportive environment for those new to the sport, resulting in sessions de-signed to build confidence and encourage participation at all levels. We have also responded to feedback by offering inclusive opportunities for different groups, adjusting session structures to better suit participants’ needs, and ensuring activities remain affordable where possi-ble through subsidised or funded sessions. Consultation with stakeholders helps EBATT Projects CIC to continually improve the quality, accessibil-ity and impact of our programmes, ensuring we provide positive opportunities that benefit the community.
During the financial year, directors received remuneration for services provided to the company.
