During the financial year, the activities of Times of Refreshing CIC benefited the community in the following ways: 1. Local residents were able to attend workshops, seminars, conferences, and community events focused on personal development, emotional wellbeing, faith, leadership, and community support. 2. Individuals experiencing isolation, emotional challenges, or lack of community connection were provided with safe spaces for encouragement, fellowship, mentoring, and social interaction. 3. Educational sessions increased awareness and understanding of topics relating to well-being, relationships, personal growth, spiritual development, and positive life skills. 4. Community members were given opportunities to participate in volunteering, leadership development, and collaborative community activities, helping to build confidence and social inclusion local artists, speakers, performers, and trainers were provided with opportunities to share their skills, knowledge, and creative work through public events. 5. Partnerships with churches, community groups, and local organisations helped strengthen community cohesion and increase access to support, education, and outreach activities for beneficiaries.
Yes. During the financial year, Times of Refreshing CIC consulted with a range of stakeholders including event attendees, volunteers, community members, local churches, speakers, trainers, and beneficiaries of its programmes and outreach activities. Consultation - these were informal discussions, feedback from attendees, social media engagement, meetings, and direct feedback received during and after events and activities. As a result of stakeholder feedback, we have taken steps to improve our engagement by increasing our community-focused activities, improving communication and event promotion, and creating more opportunities for participation and engagement in our events. Feedback has also helped shape future workshops, conferences, and outreach initiatives which will be carried out to better meet the needs of our beneficiaries and the wider community.
