Members have not required the Company to obtain an audit for the year in question in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

The Company's financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The financial statements have been delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The Company has opted not to file the profit and loss account in accordance with provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime.

The financial statements were approved and authorised for issue by the board and were signed on its behalf on 26 May 2026.

1.	General information

The Company is a private company limited by shares and is incorporated and domiciled in Northern Ireland, within the United Kingdom. The address of the registered office is 2 Carnforth Street, Belfast, BT5 4PJ.

Basis of preparation of financial statements

The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention unless otherwise specified within these accounting policies and in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102, the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of Ireland and the Companies Act 2006.

5.	Related party transactions
	No transactions with related parties were undertaken such as are required to be disclosed under Financial Reporting Standard 102.

6.	Controlling party

Thompson's Family Teas Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of its parent undertaking, Punjana Limited. The ultimate holding company is Punjana Holdings Limited, a company incorporated in Northern Ireland (NI692484) and the parent entity of the largest and smallest group of which the company is a member and for which consolidated financial statements are prepared. Copies of group financial statements can be obtained from Companies House. The ultimate controlling parties are Camille Mary Joy Thompson and James Ross Gaston Thompson, by virtue of their shareholding in Punjana Holdings Ltd.
