Company activities and impact

Community Wellbeing NI C.I.C. is a not-for-profit social enterprise actively engaged in the fight against loneliness. It is our mission to combat social isolation by connecting people through fun & easily accessible indoor & outdoor activity so that everyone in our community can connect & stay connected, no matter what. During the financial year 1 September 2024 – 31 August 2025 the company's activities have benefitted the community as follows: Our project focus this year was continuing to support the Serving and Ex Serving Women's Network in Northern Ireland. Through the Serving and Ex Serving Women’s Network we have directly impacted circa 170 serving and ex serving women and indirectly impacted family members and wider connections to circa 975. We have delivered a programme of activity for the Serving and Ex Serving Women’s Network in Northern Ireland, including connecting events, indoors and outdoors, advocated for women who have served, supported research and worked in partnership with other organisations.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our primary project this year was project coordination and activity facilitation for the Serving and Ex Serving Women’s Network in NI. Key to the successful outcome of this project was ongoing stakeholder engagement. In total we have had input from over 100 project participants. This engagement was achieved as follows: Through online and in person consultation with project beneficiaries. Through a series of surveys administered via Survey Monkey. The feedback we received through this engagement was used to develop activity, design new projects and to steer the design of the project in future years. Beyond project participants, we are careful to work as a part of a network to avoid duplication of projects and to only work in areas where there are gaps in provision of activity that can contribute to the fight against loneliness.

Directors' remuneration

The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £1,624.98. This was in return for project coordination work and activity facilitation. Payments are accounted for in Cost of Sales for work completed in support of invoiced project delivery; and, in Administrative Expenses for work completed in support of grant funded activity. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
