During the year, activities have included: - Trampoline park sessions (e.g. Jump Xtreme) - Outdoor activities such as kayaking and tubing - Farm-based experiences (Emily’s Mini Farm, alpaca visits) - Creative sessions including arts, crafts and exhibitions - ‘Pizza and Paint a Pot’ sessions - Delivery of Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programmes - Early years groups and Imagination Bay sessions - SEND-friendly haircuts - Sensory room access and hire These activities supported approximately 1,950 children and young people to access inclusive social opportunities. Our work has benefited the community by reducing social isolation, improving confidence and wellbeing, and supporting families to access safe and inclusive experiences.
Key stakeholders include children and young people with SEND, parent carers, and partner organisations. We regularly engage with families through feedback following activities, informal discussions, and ongoing communication. Feedback is used to shape activities, improve accessibility, and develop new opportunities in response to need.
