Principal activities of the company
Additional information
Raaga Sudha Music Academy had 65 registered "paying" students in its academy who took music tuitions on a weekly basis from Newcastle, Gateshead, Durham and Stockton. The CIC managed to spread its wings in the community by working with young children through After School clubs in West Jesmond Primary School, working with neuro-diverse individuals through Autism Able (South Shields) and working with people in the elderly community through musical drama. The CIC managed to reduce loneliness amongst the elderly community, help improve the well being of neuro diverse people in Autism Able and spread positive values in schools. Its musical production titled One World One Family at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music in October 2024 was watched by 1081 people performed by 214 artists in total. The entire production was fully organised by Raaga Sudha Music Academy CIC garnering commendable reviews throughout the community.

Raaga Sudha Music Academy CIC took classes on Indian Classical Music to 60 students including young children, adults and elderly people every week in Newcastle, Durham, Gateshead and Stockton. The CIC made a collaboration with Autism Able and did free classes and workshops for people with autism and learning disabilities. It trained them to perform at the One World One Family event at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music in October 2024. The CIC started taking classes at The West Jesmond Primary School, Newcastle as After school club and trained young children in Indian Music and stories with positive values. The children performed at the One World One Family event at The Glasshouse International Centre for Music in October 24. The CIC worked with members of the elderly Asian community to plan, write and perform a musical drama at the One World One Family event reducing loneliness. The One World One Family event was watched by 1081 people and had a total of 214 artists from young to old from different communities bringing inclusivity, social harmony and peace in the community.
