COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

PEOPLE'S MEEPLES (NE) C.I.C.

Company Number: 14458370 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 30 November 2025

Company activities and impact

People’s Meeples exists to promote the benefits of gaming for social and educational benefit. This year, we have done this by: Sustaining a weekly board game club, that provides a home for people with anxiety and neurodiverse gamers. Provides a low-cost place for all members of the community to play table top games, reducing barriers to socialising. Promoting games that have cognitive benefits, including maths and literacy. Started a new Historical Wargames Group that’s reducing social isolation amongst men aged 50+.

Consultation with stakeholders

We have a steering group made up of members of the community, who feed directly into the decisions taken by directors. We also set up and change groups according to the feedback of new, or potential, members. For example, this year we set up a new Historical Wargames Group when a new member explained they had no one to play with, and would like to take on the leadership of the group. We were able to find funding to get the group started, and supported the development of the group.
