Year Ending: 30 April 2026

Company activities and impact

Over the last financial year Driven By Us CIC delivered its most impactful year to date, significantly expanding both its community programmes and educational activities across the UK. With support from partners Mission 44, the organisation focused on scaling and tailoring its programmes to reach a wider and more diverse audience. We delivered a range of high-impact programmes designed to inspire and support young people, particularly in STEM-related fields. This included the delivery of interactive STEM modules, in partnership with Star Academies and in collaboration with the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team, reaching over 1,515 students across Birmingham. In addition, over 320 students were provided with access to industry role models and immersive learning opportunities through STEM Experience Days at the Atlassian Williams F1 Team. We delivered a STEM outreach programme in collaboration with the Aramco Aston Martin Formula One Team, which formed part of their landmark Make A Mark Programme Day for 300 students. These programmes and workshops have helped bridge the gap between education and industry by providing practical exposure and inspiration. Community engagement remained central to the company’s activities. At the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, the organisation hosted a Community Hub, offering members of the community the opportunity to experience a live race event in exchange for volunteering. This initiative also included an on-stage panel discussion broadcast to an audience of approximately 75,000 attendees, amplifying community voices and representation. The company also continued to support talent development pathways through its Academy drivers, who achieved significant success by winning the UK FAT Karting League and securing second place in the World Finals, we’ve been proud to partial fund race seats from a grassroots accessibility level. Further opportunities were provided to the community through exclusive access and career development experiences. These included behind-the-scenes access to the F1 Exhibition in London, a presenting and hosting workshop delivered in partnership with KLH Brand Advocates, and participation in key industry events such as INWED and STEM Catalyst career sessions with Oracle Red Bull Racing. Through these combined activities, the company has delivered meaningful social impact by increasing access, representation, and opportunity within motorsport and STEM industries. The organisation remains committed to fostering enthusiasm, developing skills, and creating pathways for individuals from underrepresented backgrounds, ensuring long-term benefits for both participants and the wider community.

Consultation with stakeholders

Driven By Us's stakeholders include students, schools and educational institutions, mentors, community partners, industry collaborators, and programme participants. Throughout the year, we have engaged with stakeholders through regular communication, feedback sessions, programme evaluations, and informal consultations. Schools and participants have provided feedback on programme delivery and content, while mentors and partners have contributed insights on improving engagement and outcomes. In 2025, this engagement reached an estimated 900+ participants across 27 activities, including 280+ students through Williams STEM Days, 80 community members at Formula E Inspirational Hours in London July. First half of 2026 alone has seen 25 activities engaging an estimated 1,500+ participants, with 17 STEM and school-based sessions, the strongest single-period performance to date. In response to stakeholder feedback, the company has taken several actions: - Enhanced and expanded mentorship pathways to better support participants' develop-ment needs reflected in the growth from 9 activities in 2023 to 27 in both 2024 and 2025, and 25 in just the first half of 2026. - Adapted and improved outreach programmes to align more closely with school require-ments and student interests, STEM and school-based activities grew from 2 in 2023 to 17 in Jan–Jun 2026, representing the single largest programme category. - Increased efforts to broaden access and participation within underrepresented communities, community and careers activities have grown consistently year-on-year, with 9 combined careers activities delivered across the full period. - Strengthened collaboration with partners to improve the quality and reach of its initiative's partnerships. These actions demonstrate the company's commitment to listening to its stakeholders and continuously improving its activities to maximise positive impact.
