For the year ending 31 July 2025 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies. The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies' regime and in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A - Small Entities. The profit and loss account has not been delivered to the Registrar of Companies.

Compliance with accounting standards
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A Small Entities. There were no material departures from that standard.
The principal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of the financial statements are set out below and have remained unchanged from the previous year, and also have been consistently applied within the same accounts.
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention.
The accounts are presented in £ sterling.
Tangible fixed assets and depreciation
Tangible assets are included at cost less impairment.
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes.

Transactions with related parties
Loan from Thames Valley Oils Limited
At the balance sheet date, a loan of £1,128,732 (2024: £1,128,732) was outstanding from Thames Valley Oils Limited (Company No. 04579133), a company which was, at that date, under the common ownership and control of the directors, Gerald G O'Hara and Lesley J O'Hara. The loan is unsecured, interest-free and has no fixed repayment date. No amounts were advanced or repaid during the year (2024: nil). Subsequent to the year end, this related party relationship ceased — see Note 9. Directors' loans
Loans of £5,000 (2024: £5,000) are owed to the directors and are included within creditors due within one year (Note 5). These amounts are unsecured, interest-free and have no fixed repayment date.

Post balance sheet events
9 Events after the balance sheet date
In December 2025, Gerald G O'Hara and Lesley J O'Hara transferred their entire shareholding in Thames Valley Oils Limited and resigned as directors of that company. As a result, Thames Valley Oils Limited ceased to be a related party of the company with effect from that date. The loan of £1,128,732 remains outstanding and the terms are unchanged.
