Company activities and impact

During the pandemic 3rdthoughts volunteers & stakeholders created a community garden in an open space to provide local residents with respite . The garden was in an area which suffered intense degradation of the public realm caused by insensitive large scale building development which continued throughout the pandemic causing distress to people locked down. Public footpaths were closed with building site hoardings, demolition & piling caused damage to water & electricity supplies, noise & dirt . Volunteers also facilitated visits to Spaces normally closed to the public as part of the London Open House Festival. A collaboration was started which aims to increase access and participation in intergenerational exchange of skills and expertise in heritage conservation.

Consultation with stakeholders

Consultation with stakeholders was undertaken during the pandemic via telephone and Zoom.
