We support people with complex mental health needs get well in their own homes by: Explaining the occupancy agreement and assisting Service Users to abide by. Organising inspections of property and arranging for any repairs or improvements to be carried out, including the replacement of furniture. Increased inspections and maintenance of the building, including health and safety issues, to address increased wear and tear to the property and facilities. Ensuring that the service users are aware of their rights under their occupancy agreement. Offering advice and guidance on keeping property to a reasonable standard of hygiene. Assisting Service Users to access other support providers as required. Individual risk assessments to ensure any risks are identified and referrals to support agencies made if necessary. Regular support sessions to ensure service users safety and wellbeing, 1 hour per week minimum (this will be at a frequency agreed with the individual service users) Liaising with all relevant agencies, both statutory and voluntary, on the service users behalf. Assisting Service Users to reduce rent arrears. Dealing with nuisance issues. Ensuring that Service Users know how to use equipment safely. Providing Service Users with advice and facilitating a move to alternative accommodation as required. Assisting Service Users to claim Housing Benefit and other welfare benefits. Helping to keep Service Users safe by monitoring visitors, including contractors and professionals, and by carrying out health and safety and risk assessments of property. Additional Housing Management: Our service goes over and beyond a general needs landlord, we also provide preventative services and benefits to the wider community. Our Service users do have complex housing and social backgrounds: We provide additional one to one support which includes: Reduce emergency/non-elective admissions to hospital due to support with health and wellbeing Reduce pressure on and costs to the ambulance service and paramedics Relieve pressure on GP services Reduce acquisitive crime Reduce antisocial behaviour Reduce the number of Service Users involved in sex work Help with community cohesion Reduce reoffending Reduce pressure on prisons Reduce costs to and operational pressure on the Police Reduce costs to and operational pressure on the courts system Reduce deaths and trauma associated with domestic violence Increase the number of Service Users who can engage with education, training and work OUR OUTCOME MEASURES : Personal and social development: Through which service users develop social and emotional capabilities, including determination, self-control, persistence and self-motivation. Social and emotional capabilities: Soft skills or non-cognitive skills, communication, creativity, confidence managing feelings, problem solving, leadership skills, resilience, and self esteem. Developing social, communication, and team working skills: The ability to learn from experience, control behaviours, and make good choices; and the self-esteem, resilience, and motivation to persist towards goals and overcome setbacks. Educational development and achievement/career success: Participation in training, literacy and numeracy, language participating in community courses, and activities, taking advice on services to improve education, budgeting and tenancy support. Being Healthy: Support services for women to access healthcare services Positive relationships: Those which can also be measured and valued by other women, by accessing public services, local communities, and family networks and by having positive relationships, with involvement in meaningful, enjoyable activities.
The company stakeholders are the vulnerable women who suffer with mental health who require safe and supported accommodation to recover from ill health.
