| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| At the balance sheet date current liabilities exceeded current assets by £20,947 (2024: £276). The financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis as the company continues to receive the support of the director where required to ensure it meets all liabilities as they fall due. |

| Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes. |
| Investment property |
| Investment property is shown at most recent valuation. Any aggregate surplus or deficit arising from changes in fair value is recognised in profit or loss. |

| Work in progress is valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value. |

| Work in progress |
| Work in progress comprises costs incurred in relation to property development projects which are not complete at the reporting date. |
| Work in progress is stated at the lower of cost and estimated selling price less costs to complete and sell. |
| Cost includes all direct costs of development and an appropriate proportion of directly attributable overheads, including land acquisition costs, construction and development expenditure and professional fees. |
| Such costs are recognised as work in progress when incurred and are expensed to profit or loss as cost of sales when the related property is sold. |
| At each reporting date, work in progress is reviewed for impairment and written down to net realisable value where necessary. |
