During the financial year August 2025 to April 2026, aMAZing Therapy Centre CIC remained committed to providing accessible, trauma-informed mental health counselling for individuals experiencing low to medium psychological distress. Our services were inclusive and community-focused, addressing the urgent need for ethical, affordable mental health support across the Thames Valley area. Our core mission was to ensure that everyone regardless of financial situation or life circumstance has access to high-quality counselling. We specialised in working with people facing complex challenges, including those affected by homelessness and domestic abuse. We operated a dual-income model: individuals who can afford to pay contribute through our full-fee services, and those unable to pay benefit from fully or partially subsided session funded through donation, grants, and our “pay it forward” scheme. Key Activities and Impact 1. Mental Health Support for People Experiencing Homelessness In September we launched phase 3 of our therapeutic programme for residents at the YMCA in High Wycombe, following a successful Phase 1 in 2024 and Phase 2 in May 2025. This trauma-informed service provides structured counselling for individuals experiencing homelessness. It helps clients build emotional stability, resilience and long-term coping strategies. This work was made possible by a generous donation from The Rothschild Foundation. 2. Domestic Abuse Survivor Support – Kaleidoscopic UK Partnership In partnership with Kaleidoscopic UK a charity based in the Thames Valley area, we completed our Phase 2 project which started in May 2025 and ended in April 2026, some clients benefitted from our pay-it-forward funds because they needed extra sessions. 3. Mental Health Support programme in partnership with Red Kite Community Housing. In partnership with Red Kite Community Housing based in High Wycombe, we successfully delivered a pilot programme to provide counselling to Red Kite’s tenants, who were working with their safeguarding team. This was fully funded by Red Kite Community Housing. Operational Growth and Leadership After launching our Buy-Me-Coffee scheme to increase our ‘Pay-it-Forward’ funds which generated £98.26 and applying for funding to several organisations, we were unable to secure any additional funding and made a decision in January 2026 to dissolve aMAZing Therapy Centre CIC
At aMAZing Therapy Centre CIC, we recognise that our success was rooted in meaningful engagement with the individuals and organisation we served and collaborated with. Our key stakeholders included. 1 Clients receiving counselling 2 Counsellors and supervisors 3 Community and referral partners e.g. YMCA, Kaleidoscopic UK, Red Kite Community Housing 4 Funding Bodies, Heart of Bucks and The Rothschild Foundation 5 Full-fee paying clients who supported our ‘Pay-it-Forward’ model, a subset of ‘Clients receiving counselling We engaged with these stakeholders throughout the year to shape and improve our services based on their feedback, experience and insight.
Marian Kennedy received a total of £3,280 for providing counselling services and a total of £10,037.76 on payroll. Marcelle Crinean received a total of £3,041.41 on payroll.
