Our company, Recreational Wardrobe CIC, has operated during the year to provide sustainable fashion and textile resources, mentorship, and collaborative opportunities through our Creators Hub and community events. During the financial year 2024-2025, we have continued to deliver on our community interest objectives by hosting Creative Community sessions: Wardrobe Talks & Craft and Creative Journey. Our activities have benefited the community by fostering inclusive education, environmental stewardship, and economic empowerment for artists, makers, and textile innovators, particularly in Merseyside and beyond. These initiatives have enabled creators to build confidence, resilience, and financial independence while promoting a circular, collaborative economy rooted in sustainability and shared growth. However, it is important to note that our director, Veronika Ondrujova, was diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (DCIS) in early 2025, which necessitated a six-month pause in our active operations to prioritise health and recovery. Despite this challenge, our earlier initiatives in the financial year had already delivered measurable community benefits, including inclusive education, environmental stewardship, and economic empowerment for creators in Merseyside and beyond.
