The company continues to manage the wood in line with the Forestry Commission Plan tackling Ash dieback within the woods and relacing Conifers with more traditional broadleaf trees. We have planted 100s of new saplings and continue to care for them and ensure that the various paths throughout the woods are kept clear and accessible for people visiting the woods. We provide regular updates to the community via the parish magazine and social media. We hold an AGM every year and do a presentation to the annual parish assembly. The board is supported by a number of volunteers who regularly carry out works in the wood.
Updates about the work carried out in the woods are included in the parish magazine and the village facebook group. We hold an annual AGM where we present the accounts, set out the woodland management plan and take any questions. We also do a presentation to the annual parish assembly. We seek volunteers and directors from the local community
