Throughout the financial year, the company has made a meaningful contribution to the community by regularly visiting elderly people in a care setting every Monday at 11:00 a.m. These visits have provided valuable companionship, social interaction, and emotional support, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation among residents. During each session, we spend quality time singing, dancing, and engaging in activities that encourage participation and enjoyment. To promote involvement and confidence, residents are invited to lead a song of their choice, allowing them to share personal memories, preferences, and take an active role in the group. This has helped create a sense of inclusion, purpose, and joy. In addition, we encourage positive communication and help residents practise speaking positively through uplifting conversations and affirmations. This has supported emotional well being by promoting encouragement, confidence, and a more positive mindset. These ongoing weekly visits reflect the company’s commitment to supporting the wellbeing of elderly people within the community. Through meaningful interaction, care, and engagement, the company has helped create a welcoming environment that brings happiness, connection, and emotional enrichment to residents throughout the financial year.
elderly residents in the care setting, care staff, family members, and members of the local community who benefit from the company’s activities. Consultation with stakeholders has taken place through regular interaction during weekly visits, informal discussions with care staff, and feedback from residents during activities. Residents are encouraged to participate by choosing and leading songs of their choosing, helping ensure that activities reflect their interests and preferences. In response to feedback and engagement, the community has adapted its sessions to encourage greater participation, confidence, and emotional well-being. Activities include singing, dancing, positive speaking exercises, and faith-based encouragement for those who wish to participate. As part of this, the company has introduced aspects of the Christian faith through songs, positive messages, prayer, and discussions respectfully and voluntarily, providing spiritual encouragement and comfort to interested residents. These actions have helped create an inclusive, supportive, and uplifting environment, ensuring that weekly visits remain meaningful and beneficial to residents.
