Directors' report period ended 31 July 2025

The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 31 July 2025

Principal activities of the company

We launched our free bi-weekly women's only wellness sessions in January 2025. These are sessions where we have exclusive hire of a gym, and offer free wellness checks which include blood pressure check, and full body analysis. This is followed by a circuit class where the ladies carry out a series of function and circuit exercises to improve fitness. While this is being carried out, we have a dedicated worker that looks after the children that any women have brought along. They have the option to carry out arts and craft activities, or something more active with boxing, football or obstacle courses. The private hire of the gym allows increased safety for the children, and it helps women who are new to the gym to feel more comfortable as there is less people. Our longest standing partnership has been with the Refugee and Migrant Centre Birmingham. Monthly wellness sessions with their women are carried out, addressing themes like menopause, depression and anxiety. The women also have the opportunity to have a health check carried out, as not all of the women currently have access to a GP.
