Principal activities of the company

Bayfirth CIC continued to work with organisations in the voluntary sector. Sporting Heritage and Voluntary Sector Studies Network gave grants for exploratory work into research in women’s cricket. This was then followed up by a project in partnership with Cricket Scotland documenting the pioneering women of the first national team in 2000. Other funding avenues and projects were explored. Bayfirth Research CIC worked with the Sports Volunteering Research Network and the Scottish Women and Girls' Cricket Research Network.

Company activities and impact

Bayfirth Research CIC has carried out research projects assisting various voluntary sporting organisations to improve their performance. For example Bayfirth Research CIC has worked with partners Cricket Scotland and Sporting Heritage to deliver a project highlighting the pioneers of Scottish International Women's Cricket. Bayfirth Research CIC has also contributed to the UK Sports Volunteering Research Network and Scottish Women and Girls' Cricket Research Network.
