Activities in the year the report relates to: - Talks and workshops from experts in sustainable textiles and fashion, open to anyone in the community - Sewing classes for adults, and for the Bridport Youth Club - Project developing flax growing and processing for the region - Secondhand/ vintage clothes markets and clothing swaps How they have benefitted the community: The company’s activities provide benefit to the community of Bridport and surrounding area by: Developing the components of a circular fashion and textile economy Teaching green fashion and textile skills/ skills for a regenerative fashion system (e.g. natural fibre making/ processing, mending, sewing etc) Supporting start-up businesses in the sustainable fashion and textile community Providing activities around sustainable fashion and textiles that are accessible to a wide range of the community
