Company activities and impact

BCDANCEHUB CIC is a small Dance organisation that received support to set up as a CIC in 2024 as part of the legacy funding from the 2022 Commonwealth Games. The organisation to date has been operating as the Black Country Dance Hub (BCDH) 12823542 since 2020. It was an organizational aspiration to move from BCDH to a CIC, but as external funding was coming to a close we made the decision to wait until NEW funding was secured before we began operating as a CIC which we aimed to do in 2025. Due to delays in securing funding this was not possible and we continued to trade through BCDH in 2025. We have now secured funding from Arts Council England and plan to trade from April 2026 through the CIC and to transition BCDH into a dormant company. Hence there has been no financial activity through BCDANCEHUB CIC for the financial year in question.
