Rock and Rose have facilitated well being workshops throughout their local community this year. They have supported charities and services such as We Work for Families, Minds of Recovery and Unpaid carers. We have attended our local International Womens Day open day and also provided support to local schools such as Dykesmains Primary school and Irvine Royal Academy. Our main focus this year has been setting up and establishing a well used and much needed Women's group in our home town of Kilwinning. Through a corra foundation fund we were able to out on a 6 weeks fuly paid women's mindfulness group. We were inundated with applications for the 6 week block and this led to a fortnightly womens group being set up for any woman to attend. This has been a success and has been a very vital safe and supportive space for women from all backgrounds. Our aim for the group is to provide a safe space for women to come along to meet others in their community, share their experiences and support with each other and learn some well being and mindfulness tools and strategies to manage stress anxiety and low mental health.
