1 Statutory information
Solid Granite Surfaces Limited is a private company, limited by shares, registered in England and Wales, registration number 12187486. The registered office is 11 Southcroft, Washington, Tyne and Wear, NE38 8RB.
2 Director's advances, credit and guarantees
At the start of the year, the amount owed by the directors to the company was £9,450. During the year, further advances of £13,704 were made to the directors and repayments of £16,702 were received by the company. At the year end, the amount owed by the directors to the company was £6,452. The balance outstanding at the year end was repaid after the year end and before the company’s corporation tax payment date. Accordingly, no section 455 tax charge arose in respect of the year end balance. The advances were unsecured, interest free and repayable on demand. No amounts were written off or waived during the year.

During the year the average number of employees was 2 (2024: 2).

For the year ending 30 September 2025 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies. The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The director acknowledges his responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions of the Companies Act 2006 and FRS 105, The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime. The accounts have been delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime. The profit and loss account has not been delivered to the Registrar of Companies.
