CAW Wellbeing CIC was established to improve mental health and wellbeing within the local community, with a particular focus on supporting people experiencing anxiety, stress and low confidence. During the financial year, the CIC delivered wellbeing support through anxiety coaching sessions and STILL Method training. These activities provided practical tools and strategies to help individuals better manage anxiety, improve emotional resilience and increase confidence in their daily lives. The company also worked to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing issues within the community and explored opportunities to expand access to support services in future years. Feedback from participants indicated that the sessions helped them gain a better understanding of anxiety and develop techniques to improve their wellbeing. Any income generated during the year was used to cover the costs of delivering these activities and to support the ongoing development of the CIC's community benefit objectives.
The company's key stakeholders include individuals attending anxiety coaching sessions, participants in STILL Method workshops, directors of the CIC and members of the local community interested in improving mental health and wellbeing. Stakeholder consultation took place through direct conversations, participant feedback, informal discussions and ongoing engagement with individuals who accessed the company's services. Feedback received highlighted the need for practical, accessible and affordable support for people experiencing anxiety, stress and low confidence. In response, the company continued to develop its wellbeing activities and provide support designed to improve confidence, resilience and mental wellbeing within the community.
