Profit share agreement
During 2021, the company and its parent company entered into a profit share agreement with an individual to purchase and develop housing on a plot of land. This neither constitutes a partnership nor a joint venture. The profit share ratio is based on the initial loan proportions and will be adjusted should further finance be provided by either party.
The project was completed and the properties are currently being rented for the short term because of the property market conditions. This year, the individual has requested repayment of the initial loan and forfeited their profit share arrangement.
The initial loan contributed by the individual and parent company are included in creditors falling due within one year.
