The New Dynasty CIC is a community-based organisation operating in South East London, focused on supporting young people affected by social exclusion, violence, and limited opportunity. During the financial year, the company delivered structured sports, mentoring, and community engagement programmes aimed at improving wellbeing, safety, and long-term outcomes for young people. Sports activities included regular football, basketball, and athletics sessions for young people aged 8 - 18, alongside holiday camps during school breaks. These provided safe and structured environments promoting physical activity, teamwork, and positive engagement, supporting young people away from antisocial behaviour. The CIC also delivered mentoring and personal development programmes, including one-to-one and group mentoring, employability workshops, CV development, and leadership training. These activities supported improved confidence, skills development, and progression into education, employment, or training. Community engagement activities brought together young people, families, schools, and local partners to address issues including knife crime and social exclusion, while strengthening community cohesion and local support networks. Overall, the CIC’s activities during the year improved wellbeing, increased access to positive opportunities, reduced exposure to youth violence and antisocial behaviour, and supported progression pathways for young people across South East London.
The New Dynasty CIC engages regularly with its key stakeholders, which include young people participating in its programmes, their families, local schools, community organisations, sports coaches, volunteers, and funding partners. Stakeholder consultation takes place through ongoing informal feedback during programme delivery, regular communication with parents and guardians, and direct engagement with partner organisations involved in youth support and community development. Feedback is also gathered through observations during sessions, participant discussions, and coordination meetings with delivery partners and local stakeholders. The CIC has responded to stakeholder feedback by adapting session structures to better meet the needs of participants, increasing the variety and accessibility of activities, and strengthening safeguarding and support mechanisms within programmes. In addition, mentoring and personal development elements have been expanded in response to identified needs for increased emotional and educational support among young people. Overall, stakeholder input has directly influenced the development and improvement of the CIC’s activities, ensuring that services remain relevant, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of the local community.
