Principal activities of the company

Stony Stratford Town Football Club CIC Directors' Report Period ended 30 September 2025 The directors present their report and the unaudited financial statements of the company for the period from 12 September 2024 to 30 September 2025. Principal Activities The principal activity of the company is the operation of a community interest football club providing accessible grassroots football for the local community. During the period the club provided regular competitive and development football for over 300 players across more than 20 youth teams from Under-7 through to Under-18, alongside a Men's First Team, a Veterans side and girls' teams at U11, U14 and U16 level. Financial Review The club generated turnover of £106,891 during the period and recorded a profit before tax of £9,115. The directors are pleased with this result for the club's first period of trading as a CIC, and the healthy cash position of £75,814 at the period end provides a solid foundation for future development. We collect 70% of players subs by offering an "early bird" discount by 31st August, so this ensures we have money in the bank to cover the forthcoming season. Community Benefit Stony Stratford Town FC provides a structured and safe environment for young people in the Stony Stratford and wider Milton Keynes area to participate in regular physical activity and develop sporting, personal and social skills. All coaching staff hold relevant FA qualifications and safeguarding certifications. The club works in partnership with the Football Association to access funding and development support, and holds an Annual General Meeting open to all members. Company activities and impact

Stony Stratford Town FC CIC continues to provide accessible grassroots football for the local community across a wide range of ages and abilities. During the financial year the club provided regular competitive and development football for over 300 players, operating more than 20 youth teams from Under-7 through to Under-18, alongside a Men's First Team, a Veterans side and girls' teams at U11, U14 and U16 level. The club provides a structured and safe environment for young people in the Stony Stratford and the wider Milton Keynes area to participate in regular physical activity, develop sporting skills and build confidence, teamwork and resilience. Many of our current first team have progressed through the age groups and into senior football, reflecting the club's commitment to long-term player development and community retention. Through its coaching staff, all of whom hold relevant FA qualifications and safeguarding certifications, the club supports the physical and personal development of young people from the local area. The club is open to all abilities and actively encourages participation regardless of background or experience. All positions within the club are voluntary.

Consultation with stakeholders

Stony Stratford Town FC CIC engages with its stakeholders/members on an ongoing basis throughout the year. The club holds an Annual General Meeting to which all members are welcome, providing an open forum for players, parents, volunteers and coaching staff to raise matters, ask questions and contribute to the direction of the club. The club also works in partnership with the Football Association, engaging with FA representatives to access funding and development support. This relationship ensures the club's activities are aligned with wider football development priorities and that resources are directed where they are most needed within the community. Feedback from parents, players and volunteers is actively encouraged throughout the year and is considered by the club committee in its ongoing planning and decision making.
