During the financial year, Guided Pathways & Futures CIC delivered community benefit activities aimed at improving the health, wellbeing and social inclusion of disadvantaged and underserved residents within Southwark. The company received grant funding which was used to support a community wellbeing initiative focused on increasing access to physical activity, promoting healthier lifestyles and reducing barriers to participation in health and fitness programmes. Activities were designed to benefit young people, older adults and other members of the local community who may face social, economic or health-related challenges. Working in partnership with local organisations, the CIC promoted opportunities for community engagement, physical wellbeing, mentoring and personal development. The initiative encouraged positive lifestyle choices, improved social connections and supported individuals in building confidence, resilience and overall wellbeing. The directors believe these activities have provided a positive and measurable benefit to the local community and have furthered the company's community interest objectives throughout the reporting period.
Yes. The company's key stakeholders during the financial year included local residents in Southwark, young people, older adults, community organisations, programme participants and delivery partners including Winners Fitness. Stakeholders were consulted through informal discussions, community engagement activities, feedback from programme participants and discussions with local partners regarding barriers to participation in health and wellbeing activities. The company also considered local health and community needs when designing and delivering its programmes. As a result of stakeholder feedback, the company focused its activities on improving access to health and wellbeing opportunities for disadvantaged and underserved members of the community. Activities were designed to be inclusive, accessible and responsive to local needs, with a particular focus on promoting physical wellbeing, social inclusion and community engagement.
