Heart Felt Trauma Therapy CIC provides specialist therapeutic support to adults, children, young people, couples and families who have experienced emotional distress, trauma, abuse, loss, adversity and other challenging life experiences. During the year the organisation continued to develop and establish its community-based therapeutic services, providing accessible and trauma-responsive support designed to improve emotional wellbeing, strengthen relationships and support long-term recovery. The company delivered a range of services including individual therapy, family support, therapeutic interventions for children and young people, and specialist trauma-informed support for adults. Services were delivered in a way that prioritised emotional safety, accessibility and early intervention, helping individuals to better understand and respond to the impact of trauma on their lives. The company's activities contributed to improved emotional wellbeing, increased resilience, stronger family relationships and greater community participation for those accessing support. Through its work, the company sought to reduce barriers to accessing therapy and ensure that people experiencing emotional difficulties could receive support in a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental environment. The directors consider that the activities undertaken during the year have provided clear and tangible community benefit and are fully consistent with the company's community interest objectives.
The company regularly engages with service users, families, professionals, schools, community organisations and referral partners to understand local need and ensure services remain responsive and effective. Feedback is gathered through direct conversations, therapeutic reviews, outcome measures, informal feedback, partnership discussions and ongoing engagement with those accessing services. This feedback informs service development, delivery approaches and future priorities. The company also works collaboratively with local schools, community groups, health professionals and other organisations to identify emerging needs and ensure support is accessible to those who may benefit from therapeutic intervention. The directors use stakeholder feedback to continuously improve services and ensure that the organisation remains focused on delivering meaningful and lasting benefit to the communities it serves.
