for the Period Ended 30 March 2026
During the financial year ending 31st March 2026, The Serenity Practice CIC delivered grief-informed, trauma-responsive therapeutic and community support in person and online. Key activities were as follows: The Space for mums – In-person day and residential gatherings co-facilitated using somatic movement, integrative breathwork, and ceremony-based approaches to support participants experiencing grief, loss and life transitions. Breath Alchemy – Fortnightly online therapeutic breathwork sessions offered to the public, providing an accessible community container for those navigating grief, loss and life transitions. The Space Circle – A monthly online membership community providing facilitated reflection, peer connection and ongoing therapeutic support. Individual Counselling (1-1) – BACP-registered integrative somatic counselling offered to individuals experiencing grief, trauma and significant life transitions. Community Ceremony and Interfaith Ministry – Grief circles, ancestral connection ceremonies and community ritual offered in line with the director’s training in Ancestral Connections and Movement Medicine frameworks. These activities benefited the community by providing accessible, professionally facilitated grief-informed and trauma-responsive support that is not routinely available through statutory provision. Approximately 150 individuals participated across all programmes during the year. Provision included sliding scale and reduced-rate options to ensure access regardless of financial means. The company’s offer is specifically designed to be inclusive for neurodivergent adults, mothers of children in crisis, and people of mixed and global majority heritage – communities who are frequently underserved by mainstream mental health and wellbeing services.
Consultation took place through post-gathering feedback gathered informally and through direct conversation with participants following The Space events; ongoing dialogue with Space Circle members regarding session content and format; and regular programme and operational review with the co-director and co-facilitator. In response to stakeholder feedback, the company expanded its provision to include a fortnightly Breath Alchemy online breathwork session to increase accessibility, and established The Space Circle as a dedicated ongoing monthly online community container. Programme content was continually shaped by participant needs and requests.
