  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover Recognition Turnover represents amounts receivable in respect of services provided during the period. It primarily comprises fees received from dance classes, workshops, and related activities delivered by Studio 19 Liverpool CIC. Income is recognised in the period in which the service is provided, rather than when payment is received. Donations are included within other operating income and are recognised when the company has entitlement to the funds and receipt is probable. No provision is made for VAT as the company is not VAT registered.
