For the period ending 18 September 2025 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
The company has taken advantage of section 444(1) of the Companies Act 2006 and opted not to deliver to the registrar a copy of the company's Profit and Loss Account.

Notes to the Financial Statements
1. General Information
The Poetry Pharmacy Live Ltd is a private company, limited by shares, incorporated in England & Wales, registered number 14000053 . The registered office is 23 Golden Square, London, W1F 9JP.
2. Accounting Policies
2.1. Basis of Preparation of Financial Statements
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 section 1A Small Entities "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" and the Companies Act 2006.
2.2. Going Concern Disclosure
The company has net liabilities of £67,104 at 18 September 2025 and depends on the continued financial support of its directors. The directors have confirmed they will provide this support for at least twelve months from the date these financial statements are approved. The directors therefore consider it appropriate to prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis.
2.3. Turnover
Turnover represents the amounts derived from the company's principal activity of producing and staging live poetry events.
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable. Revenue is recognised to the extent that it is probable that the economic benefits will flow to the company and the amount of turnover can be measured reliably.
Income from ticket sales is recognised when the related event takes place, regardless of the channel through which the tickets are sold. Amounts invoiced or received in advance of an event are deferred and held within creditors as deferred income, and released to turnover in the period in which the event is held. Where an event is cancelled and tickets refunded, no turnover is recognised.
2.4. Tangible Fixed Assets and Depreciation
Tangible fixed assets are measured at cost less accumulated depreciation and any accumulated impairment losses. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost of the fixed assets, less their estimated residual value, over their expected useful lives on the following bases:

Work in progress comprises of costs incurred on development projects and productions in progress
at the period end, less production advances.

8. Post Balance Sheet Events
On 19 September 2025, after the period end, the company converted to a community interest company (CIC). It continues to operate under the same registered number (14000053) and carries on the same activities as before. This is a non-adjusting event after the reporting period and has had no effect on the amounts recognised in these financial statements.
9. Related Party Transactions
The company is funded by interest-free advances from its directors, repayable on demand. At 18 September 2025 the amount owed to the directors was £61,699 (2024: £20,864), included within other creditors.
