Company activities and impact

Regeneration Belfast CIC is a MMA gym located on an interface in Belfast. The gym opened it's doors in September 2024, open to all members of the community from all age groups. The CIC has benefited the local surrounding community and wider community in the through the following means: - the gym operates 7 days a week and is open kids and young people. Some of the surrounding communities include the lower falls and Shankill areas of West Belfast which lack opportunities for young people. - there is also a free women's self defence class on offer every week. This is in response to continued attacks women experience within our society. - also we have helped young men change their lives around through teaching the discipline of MMA. We have helped these same young men who have had battles with addiction and depression. - Regeneration Belfast is a safe space for all of our members and future members to come.

Consultation with stakeholders

As we are an MMA gym, classes take place all day everyday. During these sessions we constantly strive to consult with members on a daily basis during these sessions on how each session can be improved. It is very important to us to ensure that all stakeholders have a voice in our CIC. The 2 directors meet with with all the trainers once a week to discuss anything they may have missed.
