Limitless Youth FC CIC is a community-focused football organisation based in Crawley, West Sussex. Our purpose is to use football, mentoring, education and positive role models to improve the physical health, mental wellbeing, confidence, life skills and social development of children and young people, particularly those from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds. During the year ended 31 March 2026, the organisation engaged with approximately 100 children and young people from a wide range of cultural, social and economic backgrounds. Our activities were delivered with the support of approximately 20–30 volunteers, including coaches, team managers, welfare officers, parent helpers and community volunteers, who collectively contributed hundreds of hours to support local children and families. Between April and August 2025, the organisation concluded another successful football season involving seven youth teams. In May 2025, we hosted our annual End of Season Celebration, bringing together players, parents, volunteers, community partners and supporters to celebrate the achievements of our young people. The event highlighted the diversity and inclusivity of our community, with families from many different cultural backgrounds coming together in a positive environment. Feedback from families and visitors reflected the strong sense of belonging, community spirit and support that the organisation provides. One visitor commented that they had never seen such a multicultural community sports environment. During this period, we also delivered an after-school football club at Maidenbower Junior School, providing additional opportunities for children to participate in structured physical activity outside school hours. We launched the Chagossian Community Youth Sports Club, creating a safe and positive space for young people from the Chagossian community and wider local community to engage in sport, develop friendships, improve wellbeing and strengthen community connections. A key highlight was our partnership with Crawley Town Community Foundation, through which young people from Limitless Youth FC were given the opportunity to serve as ball retrievers at a professional football fixture. This experience exposed participants to positive role models, increased confidence and strengthened their connection with the wider community. We also organised opportunities for young people and families to attend football matches, helping create memorable experiences and strengthen family and community relationships. From September 2025 to December 2025, the organisation successfully restructured its football provision and entered four youth teams into local league competitions for the 2025/26 season. Approximately 70 young players were registered across these teams. Despite challenges associated with volunteer capacity and team restructuring, the organisation remained committed to ensuring children continued to have access to affordable football opportunities in a safe, supportive and development-focused environment. Throughout the year, the organisation delivered two regular community participation sessions each week alongside team training, competitive fixtures and wider community activities. These sessions provided opportunities for physical activity, personal development, social interaction and positive engagement for children and young people who may otherwise have limited access to organised sport. During January to March 2026, the organisation continued delivering weekly coaching, competitive fixtures and community engagement activities. A significant achievement was being awarded the High Sheriff Award in recognition of the organisation's contribution to young people and the wider community. This award recognised the impact of our volunteers, coaches and families in creating positive opportunities for children and young people. Many families reported that the club had become an important source of support, friendship and stability. Parents regularly expressed that their children had developed increased confidence, improved behaviour, stronger social skills, greater resilience and a stronger sense of belonging since joining the organisation. The club has become a lifeline for many families, particularly those from underrepresented communities, by providing affordable opportunities for participation, positive role models and a welcoming environment where everyone is valued. Throughout the year, Limitless Youth FC CIC worked closely with schools, parents, volunteers, local organisations and community partners to improve outcomes for children and young people. Our activities promoted inclusion, diversity, community cohesion, health and wellbeing while ensuring that financial circumstances did not become a barrier to participation wherever possible. The directors believe the organisation has continued to operate wholly in the community interest and has delivered significant social value throughout the year. The company remains committed to expanding opportunities for young people, strengthening community engagement and improving outcomes for children and families across Crawley and the surrounding areas.

The stakeholders of Limitless Youth FC CIC include players, parents and guardians, volunteers, coaches, club officers, local schools, community organisations, funding bodies and the wider local community. The club is overseen by a Committee made up of Club Officers, coaches, volunteers and parent representatives. The Committee meets regularly to discuss club operations, safeguarding, player welfare, community impact and future development. The organisation maintains regular communication with stakeholders through face-to-face meetings, WhatsApp groups, the Spond app, email, social media and its website. During 2025/26, the club improved its communication systems by transitioning to Spond following feedback from parents and volunteers who requested a more structured and reliable platform for fixtures, availability and club updates. Throughout the year, feedback was gathered from players, parents, volunteers, coaches and community partners. Key themes included maintaining affordable access to football, improving communication, ensuring high-quality coaching provision and creating opportunities for young people from underrepresented communities. A significant outcome of stakeholder consultation was the review and restructuring of the club's team provision. Following rapid growth and challenges around volunteer capacity, the Committee undertook a review of the club structure. As a result, two teams were merged and one team was discontinued to ensure the club could deliver a higher-quality and more sustainable service. Whilst this was a difficult decision, it enabled the organisation to focus its resources more effectively and improve the experience for players and families. The club also continued to strengthen partnerships with local schools, businesses and community organisations, helping to create additional opportunities for young people through after-school provision, community activities and football-related experiences. The directors remain committed to listening to stakeholders and using feedback to continuously improve the quality, accessibility and impact of the organisation's activities for children, young people and families.
