Company activities and impact

In the first part of the year, Waymakers Kids focussed on running Painting in the Park for the People Powered Places programme, together with a public exhibition of artwork produced at the event. Painting in the park reached 800+ participants of the local community aged 0-75 The exhibition at Art in the Docks reached 300+ visitors. A small number of art sessions were held in the late spring, reaching 20+ local families. Waymakers then moved into renovating our space at Cooper Street and began a partnership with local home educators (NCHE network). This new Homeschool Hub is being prepared to serve the needs of local families over the next decade.
