During the period ended 31st October 2025, Law Fitness Centres CIC operated a low-cost fitness and wrestling facility for the benefit of the local community. The CIC’s activities were primarily aimed at providing affordable access to fitness and wrestling facilities for refugees, carers and members of the local community who may otherwise face barriers to participation in sport and physical activity. The company sought to promote health, wellbeing, social inclusion and community engagement by providing an accessible and welcoming environment for physical activity and training. The company operated on a not-for-profit basis and, despite generating turnover of £5,556.82 during the period, incurred a loss of £1,791.08 which was funded by the directors personally in order to continue delivering community benefit.
The company’s principal stakeholders are its members, service users, local residents, refugees, carers and community organisations. Feedback was obtained informally through regular discussions with users of the facility and members of the local community. Stakeholders expressed support for the continuation of affordable fitness and wres-tling activities and highlighted the importance of maintaining low-cost access to these services. In response to this feedback, the company continued to provide affordable facilities and sought to keep operating costs low in order to maximise community benefit.
