During the financial year, the company administered donations and grants received and to be used to purchase teddy bears and nightlights to give to children taken into care at short notice, in accordance with the objectives of the CIC. The goal is to provide support to young children entering care and that they have something to hug, hold on to and feel comforted by when in unfamiliar surroundings. Administrative overheads were incurred but the directors took no renumeration for their time and services.
The stakeholders of this company will be the young children who will receive support in the form of a teddy bear and nightlight. The directors of the company aim to give this support to as many young people as possible as they enter the care system.
